At 10:00 a.m. on November 8, the School of Intelligence Science and Technology of Nanjing University held a grand appointment ceremony for Adjunct Professor Dr. Sun Fuchun, and invited Professor Sun Fuchun to bring the third lecture of the series of lectures on the frontiers of intelligent science and technology to the students of the School of Intelligent Science and Technology of Nanjing University and the teachers and students of Nanjing University Suzhou Campus.

Sun first demonstrated the latest progress in the practical application of embodied intelligence through a series of vivid cases, which not only demonstrated the great potential of embodied intelligence technology, but
also stimulated the audience's vision for the future intelligent society. Subsequently, Professor Sun candidly shared the key issues facing the current research on embodied intelligence. He emphasized that despite the

development of knowledge, and is an important combination of artificial intelligence and robotics. This report first reviews the development process of embodied intelligence, puts forward the concept of embodied agents, and
introduces the main progress made by the speaker team in the research of embodied intelligence from three aspects: embodied perception, cognitive decision-making and embodied behavior. Then, the embodied intelligence based
on large models and its applications are discussed. Finally, the problems and future development of embodied intelligence are discussed.
