The Employment Experience Sharing Conference for the Career Education Series Activities of the School was successfully held

To implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents in universities, and to help our students better understand employment prospects and determine their personal career plans as soon as possible. On May 11th, the School of Intelligent Science and Technology held an employment experience sharing meeting. This event specially invited Chen Xinling and Sun Boyang, 2020 undergraduate students from the School of Artificial Intelligence at Nanjing University, as keynote speakers, and Liu Haohan, a counselor from the School of Intelligent Science and Technology, to attend and serve as the host.

Chen Xinling has currently signed a contract with the fourth paradigm AI product manager. She shared her selection process, personal experience, and preparation suggestions from three aspects. She first introduced the overall employment environment from the perspective of undergraduate training programs, combined with current policies, corporate talent recruitment trends, etc., and suggested that students establish goals as soon as possible. Subsequently, I introduced how to dynamically adjust my career planning goals based on personal learning, student work experience, internship experience, etc., and ultimately determined the employment direction of a product manager. I also provided a detailed introduction to the specific and actionable scale comparison methods in this process. Finally, she reviewed her entire autumn recruitment process, providing her classmates with authentic and learnable experiences and practical method guidance, and providing practical suggestions for psychological adjustment during the job search process.

Sun Boyang has currently signed a contract with Tencent backend development, and he has provided time arrangement suggestions for sophomore students based on his learning and practical experience in the form of a timeline. Starting from the question of why internships are necessary, it is recommended that students seek a balance between whether they truly love, excel, and create value when choosing a career. And based on the differences between the school's training program and the talent needs of enterprises, provide suggestions for the skill reserves of students before graduation. Finally, he shared his interview experience since applying for a job and reminded his classmates to calm down and not underestimate themselves or be arrogant.

At the end of the sharing meeting, Liu Haohan expressed his gratitude for the support of the School of Artificial Intelligence. He stated that the college attaches great importance to the needs of its students for future career planning, and has launched a series of activities called Intelligence Leading to fully leverage the guidance role of peer groups in students' career planning and career development. In the future, the college will continue to actively invite corresponding peers or corporate guests to the school to hold exchange activities based on the issues that students are concerned about.

The successful holding of the Smart Gathering Leading Employment Experience Sharing Conference fully leverages the advantages of peer assistance, enhances students' understanding of the job search process and employment direction, promotes students to establish correct employment and career views, and is of great significance in helping students to do a good job in career planning and job preparation.
