In order to implement the Action Plan for Advancing and support the construction of the First Nanjing University, improve the undergraduate training system, enhance the scientific research literacy of undergraduate students, establish a normalized communication mechanism between teachers and students, and fully leverage the guidance of professional teachers on undergraduate research innovation and academic planning, the School of Intelligent Science and Technology held a double selection meeting for undergraduate students to enter the research group in 2024 on the afternoon of March 19. Teachers from various research groups of the college and all 2022 undergraduate students will participate in this double selection meeting. The meeting was chaired by the college counselor Liu Haohan.
At the meeting, the teachers of the college introduced their research directions in sequence. They not only shared the latest scientific research achievements, but also discussed future research trends, and introduced the project planning, specific requirements, and available research conditions after joining the group. The profound and easy to understand explanations provided by the teachers have enabled each student present to have a comprehensive understanding of their current research direction, broadening their research horizons and enabling them to gain an early understanding of specific research directions in computer vision, machine learning, pattern recognition, and other fields. At the same time, they have also provided students with a wealth of research direction choices.
