To fully implement the implementation plan of Nanjing University's Strive Forward Action, deepen school enterprise cooperation, promote talent cultivation, and strengthen employment and education. On the morning of May 24th, undergraduate students from the Intelligent Science Curriculum Group at Nanjing University Suzhou Campus and representatives of graduate students from various colleges and research institutes (centers) at Suzhou Campus visited Tencent's East China headquarters to hold a visit and practice activity called Intelligent Connection Future: Technology Exploration and Practical Experience Action. Wei Ran from the Suzhou Campus Office of the Graduate School (Party Committee Graduate Work Department), Zhang Xinyue from the School of Frontier Sciences, and Liu Haohan from the School of Intelligent Science and Technology led a team to visit.
After arriving at the company, the staff first introduced Tencent's development history, market positioning, and corporate culture to the students. As an Internet company at the forefront of science and technology, Tencent pursues excellence, constantly explores the broader value of digital technology, and is committed to becoming a digital assistant in all walks of life. The company has successively established Tencent Public Welfare Foundation SSV、 Xiangshan Laboratory and others embody the mission and responsibility of leading enterprises in social services.
Subsequently, everyone arrived at the Tencent AI Laboratory exhibition hall. Tencent's cutting-edge technologies and products are showcased here, showcasing innovation and applications in fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing. The students personally experienced the battle against top-notch AI. Jue Yi is a Go AI developed by Tencent, which has defeated top Go players multiple times and become a leader in the industry. Through this experience, everyone felt the power of AI technology and its potential for future development.
Then, the students came to the conference room and listened to the work experience sharing of Tencent campus recruitment HR. While reviewing Tencent's development history, HR introduced the layout of various business groups, the training mechanisms provided by the enterprise, the channels for promotion and development, and the active water mechanism that helps internal talent flow. Finally, I introduced to the students the four main types of positions currently being recruited by the company, and provided targeted job recommendations based on the majors of the students present. Finally, the students communicated with HR about their respective concerns. Everyone has gained a deeper understanding of Tencent's corporate culture, work environment, and future career development.
At the same time, with the help of the leading enterprise platform, we can help students understand the industry's cutting-edge trends, broaden their academic horizons, and improve their professional quality, so as to lay a solid foundation for helping to achieve Chinese path to modernization in the future.
