On September 2nd, the School of Intelligence Science and Technology of Nanjing University held the 2024 autumn semester work arrangement meeting to deepen the study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the plenary session and comprehensively implement "the Progressive Action". All faculty and staff attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Party Secretary Gao Yang.
Gao Yang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Dean of the School of Intelligence Science and Technology, summarized and reviewed the work of the first half of the academic year, affirmed the achievements, pointed out the shortcomings, and extracted key points for the management of the party and government team, talent introduction, scientific research, teaching, enrollment, administrative construction and other aspects of work in the second half of the year. Gao Yang pointed out that in terms of talent introduction, we will vigorously introduce internationally influential experts and scholars, and continue to promote the introduction of overseas talents; In terms of scientific research, we hope that the teachers of the college can concentrate their efforts, overcome difficulties, and strive to apply for major national and provincial projects; In addition, graduate enrollment will be the focus of work in the second half of the year.
Assistant Dean Dai Wangzhou summarized the teaching work in the first half of the year and proposed corresponding plans for the teaching work of the college this semester, pointing out the key and difficult points of the current teaching work and answering questions from teachers.
At the end of the meeting, Gao Yang made a concluding speech, emphasizing the importance and urgency of the work in the new semester, encouraging everyone to unite and cooperate, be brave in taking responsibility, and devote themselves to the work in the new semester with full enthusiasm and pragmatic style.
