Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China announced the evaluation results of the 2024 National Natural Science Foundation of China's Fundamental Research on "Metaverse Theory and Technology Research" special project. The project "The Key Technology Research on Dynamic 3D Reconstruction for Virtual Reality Fusion Interaction" led by Associate Professor Yao Yao from the school has been successfully approved, which is also the first batch of national "Metaverse Theory and Technology Research" special projects. This special project is aimed at the forefront direction of the metaverse, exploring new research paradigms and related theories and technologies, striving to seek original breakthroughs in data management and distribution, intelligent perception and interaction, collaborative analysis methods, modeling theory and methods, and providing basic theoretical and key technical support for the development of the metaverse industry.
