On September 11, 2024, the mid-term exchange seminar of the joint research project Research on Common Technologies of Industry Visual Models between Nanjing University and China Mobile Research Institute was held offline at Nanjing University Suzhou Campus. Chen Tao, Vice Dean of China Mobile Purple Gold (Jiangsu) Innovation Research Institute, project responsibility expert Lv Yan, project leaders and relevant members of the project attended the meeting. At the meeting, the R&D team reported on the progress of the project development, the implementation of stage results, and the next stage plan, and conducted in-depth discussions on the transformation and application of project results and the 2025 R&D plan.
Since the launch of the project, the teams of both parties have closely cooperated in the direction of multimodal industrial anomaly detection, robust 3D reconstruction of multiple scenes, video quality recovery of industrial scenes, industrial vision basic models and platforms, and realistic industrial component material rendering. They have overcome difficulties and actively promoted the implementation of results. Multiple technologies are expected to be applied in practical scenarios such as wheel hub quality inspection and machine room inspection.
In the future, both sides will further strengthen cooperation, accelerate the transformation of research results into production practice, and drive application upgrades with technological breakthroughs. At the same time, the team will also focus on the forefront, exploring research directions such as collaboration of large and small models, industrial intelligent agents, 3D reconstruction scene understanding, and spatial interaction, striving to create more universal and efficient industrial models, injecting new power into intelligent manufacturing.
