In the golden autumn of October, the warm sunshine covers the earth; A gentle breeze blows, and the fragrance of osmanthus leaves fills the heart and spleen. On the morning of October 20, the 2023 undergraduate group branch of the Institute of Intelligent Science and Technology held a group day activity in Suzhou the Taihu Lake Lake National Wetland Park with the theme of tasting the autumn waters, watching the ecological tide - investigating the achievements of ecological protection and restoration, and practicing the concept of ecological environmental protection to improve the ecological awareness of students and enhance their sense of responsibility for environmental protection.

The Taihu Lake Lake National Wetland Park is located in the west of the Paradise on Earth urban area of Suzhou. It borders the Taihu Lake Lake in the west, Dongzhu Lake in the east, Guangfu

Lake in the south, and is adjacent to Zhenhu Lake, the hometown of Chinese embroidery. This area was originally a beautiful lake bay of the Taihu Lake Lake, with water and soil interlaced.

Since August 19, 2013, Suzhou the Taihu Lake Lake National Wetland Park has promoted a series of projects such as returning fishing to the lake, ecological restoration, etc., to restore its

beautiful natural landscape, which is one of the most successful cases of ecological restoration in Jiangsu Province and even in China. This theme group day activity aims to combine ecological

protection with this research, practice the idea of ecological civilization, and lead the construction of a beautiful China from a corner of the Taihu Lake Lake.

Arriving at the Taihu Lake Lake National Wetland Park, it is like stepping into a green fairyland far away from the hustle and bustle. Strolling along the winding path, lush trees sway on both

sides, and willow branches dance lightly in the breeze. Sitting on a cruise ship, a few waterbirds lightly skimmed over the shimmering lake surface, while distant flocks of sheep appeared and

disappeared, forming vivid ecological paintings. The classmates also had a close-up view of giant pandas, rabbits, and deer, sharing the joy of nature with these adorable creatures.

At the Giant Panda Science Museum, students gained a deep understanding of the living habits, conservation status, and scientific research progress of these rare animals, and deeply realized

that every life is worth our careful care.

This theme group day activity, borrowed from the the Taihu Lake Lake Wetland Science Museum in Suzhou, with its rich exhibition content, made everyone feel the unique charm of the wetland ecosystem and its importance for maintaining ecological balance. This has inspired everyone's deep sense of responsibility and mission towards environmental protection. Classmates have expressed their desire to start from themselves, from small things, and contribute their efforts to protect the earth that we rely on for survival.

The students who participated in this activity realized:

1. By participating in this group day activity, I felt as if I had stepped into a vivid picture of nature. Every piece of green and every spring in the Taihu Lake Lake Wetland Park seems to tell us an

ecological story. In the ecological photography competition, we transform into catchers of light and shadow, capturing those fleeting beautiful moments with our lenses, allowing the charm of nature

to bloom in our works. In the science museum, the ocean of knowledge allows us to swim freely, and every exhibition deepens our understanding of the mysteries of nature.

Taking the cruise ship, we gently rippled on the sparkling lake, as if we had a spiritual dialogue with the blue waves of the Taihu Lake Lake. The tranquility around us, only the interweaving of bird

songs and water sounds, creates a heavenly sound that allows us to feel the harmonious coexistence with nature. The careful planning and care of the class committee members are like an invisible bond

that tightly connects our hearts, making this event not only a treasure in our memories, but also a sublimation of our team spirit. (Chen Kaiyu)

2. In this group day activity, our classmates embarked on an unforgettable journey together. In the laughter, we walked all over the the Taihu Lake Lake Wetland Park, where we had a close look at the giant panda museum and visited the vibrant Kajima Villa. In these places, we encountered many lively small animals, and our intimate contact with nature immersed us in a peaceful and harmonious environment, allowing us to fully relax both physically and mentally. At the same time, we have also deeply felt the preciousness of peace in our motherland, which is the result of the hard work and selfless dedication of countless people. However, in such peaceful times, there are also storms. As intelligent science students, we are standing at the forefront of the wave of artificial intelligence technology in the new era. We have the responsibility to shoulder the heavy responsibility of the country, be proactive, and move forward courageously. We are determined to make China never fall behind others in the new round of technological revolution through our own efforts. We will work hand in hand, using our youthful talents to promote national scientific and technological progress, and jointly create a brilliant future. (Huang Letong)

3.The sky is clear and the breeze is gentle. On Sunday morning, the members of our Zhike Class I team went to the Taihu Lake Lake Wetland Park together and got a lot from it. First of all, I was deeply impressed by the beautiful scenery of the Taihu Lake Lake Wetland Park. The rippling lake, dense forests, and various animals constitute a beautiful ecological picture. Strolling along the wooden boardwalk, the fresh air greets you, making you feel refreshed and happy. Of course, this event also gave me a deeper understanding of wetland ecological protection. Wetlands not only have beautiful scenery, but more importantly, they provide important habitats for various organisms and are important areas for ecological protection. Overall, this group day activity is not only a relaxing trip, but also an unforgettable learning experience. (Li Changjin)

4. The group day activities in the Taihu Lake Lake Wetland Park made me deeply experience the beauty of nature and harmonious coexistence. Strolling in the park, we were fortunate enough to observe the national treasure giant pandas up close. Their leisurely and contented demeanor made us involuntarily slow down and appreciate them quietly. And the gentle deer's agility and elegance make people feel the vitality of life. The lively rabbits have added a lot of vitality to this wetland. This activity not only helped us relax, but more importantly, it enhanced our awareness of protecting the ecological environment and made us realize the importance of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. (Qian Yuyi)

5. In this group day activity, we came to Suzhou the Taihu Lake Lake National Wetland Park. We walked on a quiet path, admiring the purple flower clusters in the sky; We took a boat ride on the lake and were pleasantly surprised by the adorable innocence of the sheep on the other side; We step into the Wetland Science Museum to learn about wetland ecological protection. At that time, the scorching sun was just right, and the autumn atmosphere was strong. A wetland, two pandas, a few saplings, really happy. (Li Linhao)

6. We went to the Taihu Lake Lake Wetland Park together for this group day activity. Here, I got close to the nature, saw a variety of plants, and learned about the development history of the Taihu Lake Lake Wetland Park. This event provided me with an opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, enjoy life and nature, and greatly alleviate my academic pressure. The most impressive thing for me during this event was seeing two giant pandas. Their adorable and silly movements made me laugh uncontrollably. In short, this group day activity not only strengthened my communication with my classmates, but also enriched my extracurricular life, making it an impressive event. (Lu Muyao)
